  There are three associated plug types in Cambodia, A, C and G. The plug type A which has two flat parallel pins, mainly used in The central and North America, Japan and China and this socket only works with plug A .

   The plug type C is the plug which has two round pins, also known as the standard Euro plug, and this socket works with plug E and plug F.

   Finally, the plug type G is the plug with a three rectangular pins in a triangular pattern .This plug type is a British origin , and this socket only works with plug G .

• The all sockets in Cambodia provide a standard voltage of 230V with a standard frequency of 50Hz.

   The electricity supplies the all world can vary from anything between 100V and 240V. And it can be Very dangerous to use an electrical appliance that is rated at a voltage different from the supply.

   The voltage can differ from country to country, you will need to use a voltage converter or transformer during your vocation in Cambodia. And if the frequency is different, the normal operation of an electrical appliance may also be affected.

    In other hands, if the standard voltage in your country is in the range of 100V-127V as in the United state of America, Canada and countries in South America you will need a voltage converter in Cambodia. But without a converter, you will damage you electronic equipment.
